Snow Day!

We've been waiting all winter for some snow we can actually play in. It finally came this week. Tanner's school was canceled and we took advantage of the snow day.
The boys were dressed and out the door before 8am (let me just say, I LOVE it that 2 of my kids can get in and out of their snow stuff by themselves- it makes me like snow days even more). Within just a few minutes they had a snowman built. Tanner is the master snowman builder of the family.
Tanner loves the snow, he was laying in it, doing somersaults in it, eating it... (yuck, I know, but we've all done it at one point in time.)
We've had a sled sitting in our garage waiting to be used.
Brookie was the slowest moving of the bunch, so I was able to get some cute pictures of her. She liked the snow a lot more than I thought she would. I thought she would wimp out and get cold, but nope, she proved me wrong.
She's such a cute little goober.

There is a field at the end of our neighborhood with a small hill, so we took the sled down there and tried it out. It isn't much of a hill, but when the boys went down they yelled to us from the bottom "That was AWESOME!"

Brooke tried it out too, with her "tough" looking dad.

There goes Dallin...
Tanner was practicing his photography skills, not too bad...

A Day at the Beach

We didn't have any plans for last Saturday and the weather forecast looked great, so we decided to take a little day trip to the coast. We are renting a beach house in May with Sara and Daniel and Aaron's parents, so we thought we would head to Lincoln City and check it out- and of course play on the beach. The weather was beautiful. 50 degrees and sunny in February on the Oregon Coast is nothing to complain about. Here are some of the pictures: (Yes, there are a ton, but pictures on the beach always seem to turn out really nice.)

We can't wait to go back!

19 weeks

Today I had the "big" ultrasound. Everything looked great with the baby and we'll definitely be adding another boy to our family. Tanner has been very excited about this baby, and since he is older, he came to the ultrasound. He was so excited and so interested in seeing everything. It was really sweet. Here's our little munchkin:

Isn't he already so cute?
