Quentin's Slideshow

Aaron put together a slideshow of little Quentin.  It's pretty cute.  If you have a few minutes, take a look.

Quentin's Photo Shoots

Quentin had two photo shoot sessions with my very creative friend Amy.  She is trying out her hand at photography and wanted to practice on my little guy.  Of course I agreed.  She did a wonderful job.  Here are some of my favorites (okay there are a ton of them).

Grandma Widing made this adorable quilt for him.

This just might be my all time favorite.

He loved being in the suitcase.  I was thinking about borrowing it at night...

We went into the farm near my house to take these ones.

He's growing!

Today Quentin is 2 weeks old.  It's flown by!  I am still trying to figure out this new baby/trying to stay on top of things/and not be too cranky.  I think I should probably forget the trying to stay on top of things part.  Anyways, he's still a little sweetie that sleeps a lot and eats a lot.  He had a doctor's appointment today and these are his latest stats:
Height- 20.75"
Weight- 7lb. 11 oz
Head Circ.- 36 cm
He's still a little guy but growing.  We sure love him.  And check out that cute picture!  My very talented friend Amy did a photo shoot, and this is one of my favorites.  Once I get all of the pictures I'll post more of them.  She took some more pictures yesterday that I am really excited to see.

He's SO popular!

Quentin is super popular in our house, but really, how could he not be?  There are always lots of willing hands to hold him.

Isn't this summer outfit the best?

Lovely Grandma Widing
Did I mention that my mom came out to visit/help for the week?  Aaron had to go to St. Louis the week after Quentin was born, so my mom came out.  She is pretty awesome.  She cleaned my house like a mad woman (even scrubbed my toilets with a pumice stone!), plus she is the "baby whisperer" (really the "grandchild whisperer").  She really knows how to "work" them and make them happy.  We all love her so much and were sad to see her go.  Come back anytime Grandma!

4th of July!

We had a great 4th of July this year.  The weather was wonderful!  Nice and hot.  Grandma and Grandpa Widing came down for a visit and to meet baby Quentin.  In the morning Aaron and the grandparents took the "older" kids to the ward pancake breakfast at the park and to be in the "parade."  The kids spent the rest of the day playing with the neighborhood kids.  They swam, jumped on the trampoline with the sprinkler underneath, played with water shooters...  We also barbequed then lit off fireworks.  It was a great day!

Getting ready for the "big" parade.

Playing with Grandpa at the park.

And then there were four!  They are so stinkin' cute!
Brookie and her neighborhood friend.

Brooke wasn't sure about all the loud noises from the fireworks...
She watched 1/2 of them from under her blanket.
My boys loved all of the fireworks though.
